NCFPE-PAC Mission Statement
The mission of the North Carolinians for
Free and Proper Elections is to:
1. Educate and inform North Carolinians about the unconstitutional ballot access restrictions laid out in NC General Statute Chapter 163 and how they harm the freedom of every North Carolina citizen.
2. Work to
prompt change in North Carolina’s election law regarding
third party and unaffiliated candidates’ access to the North
Carolina ballot to ensure that North Carolina law treats
all political parties equally and that the North Carolina
voter is fully guaranteed his first amendment right to vote.
3. Educate the people of North Carolina about the importance of retaining our Electoral College System to elect the President of the United States and prompt needed reform in the way North Carolina implements this important system in order to ensure that the minority’s voice is not trampled by the will of the majority.
4. Identify the stances of current elected officials and candidates for public office on ballot access restrictions.
5. Keep North Carolinians aware of current ballot access issues and court cases within North Carolina and any Federal decision that would affect North Carolina elections, along with bills relating to ballot access and the Electoral College system currently in the North Carolina General Assembly or US Congress.
