About Us
The North Carolinians for
Free and Proper Elections is a non-partisan state Political
Action Committee dedicated to free, equal and proper elections
in a state that has a history of restrictive ballot access
laws. The NCFPE-PAC was formed by Jordon M. Greene in June
of 2008 after dealing with the state's overly restrictive
ballot laws while trying to get an unaffiliated congressional
candidate on the NC election ballot as well as being involved
in a new third political party which also was and continues
to struggle to obtain ballot access.
Jordon came to the realization
that people in the state were largely unaware of the state's
ballot restrictions that abridge their right to free speech
at the ballot box, unaware of where the candidates stood
on the issue and that more research needed to be completed
to better understand the negative effects of restrictive
ballot access laws. So Jordon researched, and eventually
started the North Carolinians for Free and Proper Elections
- PAC (NCFPE-PAC) during his sophomore year at the University
of North Carolina at Charlotte. It is Jordon's hope and
goal that the NCFPE will be a vehicle of motivation for
the people of North Carolina, and all political parties
in the state that will join us, to stand up and demand free
and proper elections so that we can all enjoy the
right to vote (not just the two-major parties).
We would like to thank and
recognize Mr. Will Adkins, former Libertarian candidate
for US Congress in North Carolina's 2nd District,
for his assistance in the beginning stages of the NCFPE-PAC.
Stand with us and demand freedom for all!
